How does everyone do a healed ridge incisions?

my thoughts first are what kind of tissue I have and how much of it there is. Then I decide what I like and don’t like about that tissue. Then based on where I am I make the decision where to cut. Often similar based on region but not always the same even in healed ridge.

This is my most common incision for healed ridge when I expect there may be something going on on the buccal side. JIC incision (Just In Case).

Everything still must be in keratinized gingiva and as much as I can, I’ll avoid releasing incisions
